Our kababayans in Sweden are informed of the upcoming Consular Outreach Mission in Linköping scheduled from 03 to 04 May 2025.
Consular Outreach Missions are designed to bring essential Consular Services directly to our kababayans, no matter where they are located. That way, you do not have to travel to Stockholm to avail of our Consular Services.
During the Outreach, you can access a range of services such as:
-
Passports. Renewals and new, applications;
-
Dual Citizenship. Reacquire your Filipino citizenship to become a dual citizen;
-
Civil Registry. Reports of Birth and Marriage may be submitted for you, or your child, to be able to apply for Passport; and
-
Notarial Services. You may have your documents Notarized or Legalized by the Embassy for use in the Philippines.
For Dual Citizenship and Civil Registry applications, please mail them to the Embassy in advance to secure your appointment. Note that in our Constitution, a natural born Filipino automatically loses their Philippine citizenship upon being naturalized as a Swedish or a foreign citizen.
Individuals who wish to reacquire or retain their Filipino citizenship may do so by going through the Dual Citizenship application with the Embassy.
You may find out more information on the Dual Citizenship process through this presentation by the Embassy:
