The Acknowledgement of Employment Contracts of Filipinos employed in Sweden and Finland is a requirement for the issuance of an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). 

Please be advised that Acknowledgment of Employment Contracts are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Applicants may opt to mail their documents, provided that the documents are duly notarized by a Notary Public, and send to the following mailing address:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Originally signed Employment Contract

If applying in-person: The employer must sign the contract at the Philippine Embassy before a Consular personnel. Acknowledgement services is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays

If applying by mail: The Employment Contract must be duly notarized by a Notary Public

  • Photocopy of the following:
    • Passport data pages of the employer and the employee
    • Certification of the person authorized to employee on behalf of the company
    • Valid commercial registration or business license
  • Processing fee of 350 SEK to be paid via Swish (for applicants from Sweden) or cash or bank transfer (for applicants from Finland)
  • If applicant wishes to receive their documents back by mail: Self-addressed, self-stamped, large envelope from PostNord
  • Other documents (if necessary)
