12 February 2024 - H.E. Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta joins the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm in a meeting with Mr. Daniel Wolvén, Director for Asia, the Pacific Region, and Latin America (ASOL) on 02 February 2024 (Friday), held at the Royal Thai Embassy, Stockholm, Sweden.
The meeting is the first time that Mr. Wolvén met with the ASEAN Ambassadors since his assumption as the Director of ASOL. Discussions revolved around the current political and economic climate in Sweden, ASEAN-EU relations, the ACS implemented and planned activities, and the bilateral relations of each ASEAN country with Sweden. 12 February 2024 - H.E. Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta attended the 32nd meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS), on 31 January 2024 (Wednesday), held at the Royal Thai Embassy, Stockholm, Sweden.
This is the first meeting of the ACS for 2024. During the meeting, ACS reviewed the activities carried out in 2023 and discussed upcoming activities and issues for 2024. Malaysia also officially handed over the Chairship to Thailand, which is scheduled to lead the group for the first half of 2024. END.
