03 October 2023, Stockholm - H.E. Ambassador of the Philippines Maria Lumen B. Isleta hosted a dinner in honor of Undersecretary Ireneo C. Espino, who headed a delegation from the Department of National Defense (DND) that visited Sweden from 01 to 04 October 2023.
The delegation carried out meetings with officials of the Ministry fo Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence to discuss security issues of mutual concern to both sides. END
11 October 2023 - H.E. Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta, together with the other members of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm met with Mr. Henrik Landerholm, Swedish National Security Adviser on 11 October 2023 at the Embassy of Malaysia.
Both sides discussed the current security situation in Sweden. Both sides also discussed the political, economic, and social impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the country. END.
