The Embassy of the Philippines in Stockholm celebrates the
Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo)
06 September 2021 – In observance of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month. The Philippine Embassy conducted a special flag raising ceremony to celebrate the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo 2021). The flag raising ceremony was attended by the officers and staff of the Embassy and some members of Filipino community. A small program on the maritime issues and activities were.
Embassy personnel were called on to raise awareness and consciousness on maritime and archipelagic issues and concerns. Comparison between the Philippines and Sweden were also drawn up, notably both countries’ experiences as archipelagic countries. The morning flag raising ceremony was followed by followed by a sumptuous breakfast for all Embassy personnel.
The Embassy of the Philippines visits the Vasa Museum
03 September 2021 - In observance of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo 2021) this month. The Philippine Embassy in Stockholm visited the Vasa Museum on 03 September 2021.
The museum houses the Vasa ship which capsized and sank in Stockholm in 1628. It was salvaged in 1951, which after 333 years on the seabed. The Vasa ship was considered as the pride of the Swedish navy that never completed her maiden voyage. Today, Vasa is the world’s best preserved 17th century ship with 98% of the ship on display bearing original parts and the Vasa Museum remains the most visited museum in Scandinavia
The museum’s management gave the Embassy a guided tour and trivia pieces in connection with its construction.

Further to the Interagency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Diseases (IATF) Resolution No. 159, starting 01 February 2022, the classification of countries/territories/jurisdictions as "Green," "Yellow," and "Red" shall be temporarily suspended.
Arriving passengers must submit a negative RT-PCR test valid for 48 hours prior to departure from their country of origin.
Those fully vaccinated are no longer required to undergo facility-based quarantine, but shall self-monitor for 7 days.
On the other hand, unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, and those whose vaccination status cannot be confirmed shall be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the 5th day. They will also be bequired to undergo home quarantine until their 14th day, with the date of arrival being the first day.
Children below twelve (12) years of age who cannot be vaccinated shall follow the quarantine protocols of the parent/s or the accompanying adult/guardian traveling with them.
The National Covid Certificates of France and Monaco are recognized in the Philippines under a reciprocal agreement.
