Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga together with the other members of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm met with Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) representatives Mr. Patrick Ström, Director of the Centre for Asian Studies (CAS); Ms. Åsa Malmström Rognes, Head of Asia Program at UI & Research Fellow at CAS; Ms. Nanhee Lee, Program Manager of CAS; Mr. Nick Andersson, Senior Advisor to the SSE President; and Prof. Pierre Guillet de Monthoux on 30 April 2025 (Wednesday), in Stockholm, Sweden.
After brief introductions on both sides, SSE conveyed its interest in exploring partnerships with ASEAN countries, through the ACS, as well as carrying out activities that would focus on ASEAN business, trade, and economics. SSE also provided an art tour of the classrooms. Each SSE classroom was assigned an artist who had a freehand in designing the space to “bring art closer to students”, and in a way that inspires and encourages students to learn.
The SSE is the leading business school in the Nordic and Baltic countries and enjoys a high reputation in Sweden and internationally. END
