H.E. Ambassador-designate Patrick A. Chuasoto called on H.E. Van Tuan Tran, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sweden and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm for the first half of 2025, on 25 April 2025 (Friday), in Stockholm, Sweden.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the Philippines-Vietnam bilateral relations, which has been strengthened through a strategic partnership since 2015. Both sides also discussed their planned projects and activities towards strengthening bilateral relations with Sweden. Ambassador Tran shared his insights with respect to Sweden, the activities carried out by the ACS, and the changing dynamics in the global economy. Ambassador Tran warmly welcomed Ambassador Chuasoto as a new member of the ACS and invited the latter to the 38th ACS Meeting slated for May. END
