28 April 2025, Stockholm –The Philippine Embassy in Stockholm proudly held a flag-raising ceremony, attended by Embassy staff and personnel. This marks the first flag-raising ceremony under Ambassador Patrick A. Chuasoto’s tenure as the Philippines’ top envoy to Sweden.

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Philippine flag at the Embassy grounds, accompanied by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Ambassador Chuasoto was joined by the Embassy’s diplomatic team and staff, who gathered in a show of unity and commitment to serving the Filipino community and strengthening bilateral relations between the Philippines and Sweden.

In his remarks, Ambassador Chuasoto expressed his deep honor at representing the Philippines in Sweden, emphasizing the importance of unity, service, and the shared values that bind Filipinos both at home and abroad.
