11 November 2024, Stockholm – Consul General Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga attended the launching event of the Filippinska Föreningen i Sverige (FFS) held on 26 October 2024 (Saturday), in Gothenburg, Sweden.

During the event, Consul General Gallaga also led the induction of officers of the FFS, led by FFS President and co-founder Laidee Jane Assaf and co-founder Leandro Dechavez.

FFS is a non-profit Filipino association founded on  13 August 2024, and aims to promote Filipino language and culture among younger generations. The association arranges various activities for children, youth as well as for adults.  Recently, it organized lectures on financial literacy and in collaboration with other organizations held an Art Exhibit/Workshop.  END
