30 October 2024 - H.E. Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta met with Ms. Sonja Hämäläinen, Head of the Unit of Labour Migration and Integration, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, on Wednesday, 23 October 2024, in Helsinki, Finland, as part of the former’s exit calls in Finland.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the situation of Filipino workers in Finland as well as updates with respect to Finland’s Talent Boost Programme, the possibility of a Philippines-Finland Bilateral Labour Agreement, and the upcoming visit of Minister of Employment Arto Satonen to the Philippines.
