04 December 2023, Stockholm - Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta met with Ms. Malin Broberg, Rector and Vice Chancellor, University of Gothenburg (UGOT) on 29 November 2023.

Both sides discussed the different ways of carrying out cooperation between the UGOT and Philippine universities, as well as the key research profile areas of interest to UGOT. 

Founded in 1891, UGOT is the third-oldest of the current Swedish universities with 53,845 students and 6,670 employees. It offers 203 programs and 1,924 courses.

Also present during the meeting were Honorary Consul David Kristenssion, a.h., Third Secretary and Vice Consul Pat Lester F. Solosa, and UGOT International Relations Officer Elin Fransson.  END.
