09 October 2023 - H.E. Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta joined other Asia-Pacific Ambassadors during a visit to Mariefred, Södermanland County on 06 October 2023.

The Ambassadors visited Gripsholm Castle, which was one of the royal residences from the 1500s until the 18 century. The castle now serves as a museum that houses several paintings and other works of art. Later that day, they were joined by Ambassador Niclas Kvarnström, Director for Asia, Latin America, and Pacific Region at the MFA, who hosted a dinner at Gripsholm’s Värdshus (Pub).

In attendance were the Ambassadors of Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Viet Nam, as well as other MFA officials. END.
